Community of Faith Tabernacle Leadership
Community of Faith Tabernacle is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Dewey E. Lane
Senior Pastor
Over the last 36 years of ministry, Pastor Lane has dedicated his life to the practical teaching of God’s Word, so that those who hear it can run with it. His heart’s desire is that we all will come into a full knowledge of who Jesus Christ is and be doers of God’s Word and not hearers only.
Pastor Lane’s vision for ministry is Building Whole People for the Kingdom of God. He has worked to enrich spiritual growth, marriages, life improvement, wellness, and social development of all that God has entrusted to him.
Professionally, Pastor Lane worked in the Information Technology field for over 33 years. He holds a B.S of History and Social Sciences, a B.A. of Theology, a M.A of Pastoral Counseling and a Doctor of Ministry (DM).
Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit in January 2007, Pastor Lane and his family was called to the pastorate of the Community of Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Baptist Church in Springfield, Virginia. The church is showing a growth in membership and ministries and moving the people of God forward. The dynamic impact of this church is felt through evangelism throughout the community.
Pastor Lane is the father of three wonderful children, Cory, Justin and Courtney and grandfather of Taliyah Lane, Daniel Stafford and Amiya Stafford.
